Practice make golf and negotiation. Jonathan Plows considers how negotiation is just like any other skill – practice and preparation can make all the difference.

With only a week or two before the golf season formally arrives with the US Masters, I’m reminded of a saying from one of the legends of the game that has resonated with me for years:

The more I practise, the luckier I get.’
