In this event we explore the role of negotiation in driving successful procurement transformation, and ask whether it's a skill that has become neglected in the discipline of procurement.

"Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate." - John F. Kennedy

Procurement functions have come a long way in recent years, particularly in aspects of technology and sustainability. Increasingly businesses are seeing the value that procurement functions are bringing and as a result are putting more spend in the hands of their procurement teams; knowing that their activities greatly impact both bottom and top-line growth.

This shift from cost efficiency to value creation requires a different approach to negotiation. In achieving higher value outcomes, procurement professionals should bring creativity, sustainability and innovation in their approach to negotiation. In this event, we explore the role of negotiation in driving successful procurement transformation.

Our Breakfast in The Boardroom Series brings negotiation professionals together to discuss key industry themes and issues; learning from the past, predicting the future and learning through sharing experiences.
